Harlyn Bay sits within the spectacular Seven Bays coastline, one of Cornwall's most beautiful coastal stretches. Each beach offers something different, from sheltered family swimming spots to excellent surf conditions and scenic walking routes. All seven bays sit within a few miles of each other, making Harlyn Bay Cottage the perfect base for exploring North Cornwall's coastline.
Harlyn Bay
The largest and most popular of the seven bays, Harlyn Bay is known for its wide golden sand, calm waters and excellent family-friendly facilities. RNLI lifeguards operate during summer months, making it one of the safest beaches in North Cornwall. Dogs are welcome year-round, which is rare in Cornwall and makes it especially popular with dog owners. Disposable BBQs are permitted, and bins are provided to help keep the beach clean and beautiful.
Trevone Bay
A smaller, picturesque bay featuring sheltered swimming areas and fascinating rock pools at low tide. A lovely café overlooks the beach.
Mother Ivey's Bay
A peaceful and unspoiled beach known for crystal-clear water and a quieter atmosphere. Facilities are limited, adding to its untouched charm.
Booby's Bay
